WORKSHOPS

Larissa teaches early and pre-American Tribal Style© bellydance developed and taught by her mother, Masha Archer, passed down from the great Jamila Salimpour, before Masha's own student, Carolena Nerriccio, further developed and codified the steps and cues. In addition to the "Lost Words" (steps that have fallen out of use or been altered greatly in modern ATS©), Larissa offers training in true ensemble  improvisation--dancing together while fluidly moving between dancing individually, in "response" to one's partner or group, and in unison, without cues or choreographed combinations.
